today: April 6, 2016 Today is so dang slow. I am tired, I honestly don't want to do anything. I have a math test soon and I haven't studied. I still need to work on the power point with fausto but we able to. there is so much going on. ugh!!!!!! Fausto Has sent me some photos for the power point, but I need to have information for his slides.

today: I need to start working on my interview questions and get them checked by the teacher . I also need to keep up with my blogs.which is super hard! I have work, and homework . I know I get one day in class but get to distracted for my work

I have no idea what to talk about right now, it's late. I'm leaving out of town tomorrow. Um... I should be asleep. I need to go shopping to get my work clothes. Today I got my announcements for graduation. I'm just praying that I get C's or above. The announcements look really pretty. We just have to work o. Who is getting what.... I'm really excited to see what I become in the future. I can't decide whether to go to the University of Arizona or Northern Arizona University because they are good schools but I'm still trying to figure out what I would like to be. I am thinking about becoming and engineer with a minor in business not sure yet. Uh, to many things to decide. I still have to go prom dress shopping. So much to do in such little time...

Tired

So right now I just submitted my written proposal that was due weeks ago, but now that I turned it in hopeful my grade is good! Today was a good day.fausto and I got out plans done we started working on the power point. We are getting more information for you guys.the pep assembly was super werl, I'm going to miss my fellow seniors... Now I just have to do my math homework study for my tests coming up. Do my English papers and I'll be good hopefully. I need to catch up on all school work since now that I am starting to work. I'll probably have a little more stress but I think I can manage.

Written proposal

Nava Tonantzin Mrs. Newman's Senior English, Per. 12 Date 3/2/2016 String instruments Hello, my name is tonantzin and I would like to introduce, string instruments and ways to play them, and know the different clefs and more. I absolutely love playing and instrument. Its relaxing, beautiful sounds. I love the classical music, from Beethoven and more. I feel like it sends a message whether it's a nice and slow piece or a fast piece. I play the viola. I've been playing since I was in the fourth grade, through middle school and had stopped my freshmen year and sophomore year. I honestly wish I hadn't stopped, because now that I am playing it again, I have to build myself back up to where I would like to be at which is being really good.

Today Fausto and I are going to be catching up on work. We are going to be in the library typing up some of the PowerPoint. We are going to decide what to put, like what type of information is really important for you guys to understand what we would like you to try.

As of right now, I can't really think of anything else to say. Im just going to post some pictures of the string instruments. 

Time to get back on track!

Now that i got that out of my system I need to make a plan on what I need to accomplish with my partner. We need to sit down to figure out what we both want in the PowerPoint. With the PowerPoint we both were talking about one slide has a little bit of my information and the next slide have some his information, and just switch off, also we have talked about having props, I can bring my instrument and some books and get a little help from my orchestra teacher with some props I can use for the final presentation. Fausto can bring some beginner art books and some tools you might need to learn how to free hand draw.

not focused at all!!!

I have so much on my mind, its hard to keep track of what to type or what to say right now. I am trying to focus but I really can't right now. Grades go out next week and i know its only quarter grades but this determines if in graduate or not, and if I can get anymore scholarship money. I need at least STRAIGT B's or A's but right now its not going to well. I'm trying to focus on all my classes but its hard when I really don't want to do anything. My math, English, and avid class are really hard right now.

All my homework assignments keep adding up to the point were I am forgetting where I put them which is not good at all.  i still need to practice my instrument for the festival and the concerts coming up but i really just need to take a deep breath and do all the assignments and turn them in to achieve the grades I really want.

The Different notes and stings each inrstsrument has!

So the last post I talked about how the bass and cello have the same Clef and violins and violas don't have the same one. Today I want to talk about the different strings and notes the instruments use and use some pictures too.   there are four strings to each instrument, But different names to them. There is an E, A, D, G, and C string. The G and C string have the lowest sound. The E and A string have the highest, but the E string has the highest notes. The D string is just in the middle.


As you can see that there are many things that an instrument has.

So far behind

I've been so far behind on everything. I was lost and trying to figure out what and how to do the project. At first my partner and I thought we are going to make a power point or a poster board, but then we also had the idea on making an app. I really want to make the project about string instruments and how to play them, the difference between the musical instruments, and also have a couple of the different music books on the notes. I would also like to bring my instrument in and play something to show the class. My partner Fausto wants teach the basics on free hand drawing. He wants to teach people how to free hand draw and maybe have tutorials on what and how to draw.

I need to talk to my orchestra teacher if I can borrow a couple of beginner books of the different clefs for instrument. As you can see below is that there is a Alto Clef  which is used for the viola,  A Bass Clef which is used for the bass and cello etc., and the Treble Clef which is used for the violins etc.
